I see exotic and aquatic animals in Dubai. Consultations are one to one, with time to properly assess your animal, understand their history, and talk through what is happening and why.
Clinical Consultations A full examination covering your animal’s health, diet, environment, and history. Exotic animals are good at hiding illness so the earlier something is caught the better the outcome tends to be. I try to look at the whole picture, not just the presenting problem.
Diagnostics Blood work, cytology, imaging interpretation, and water quality analysis for aquatic patients. Getting an accurate diagnosis is the foundation of everything else.
Surgery Soft tissue surgery including spay procedures, abscess removal, mass excision, and wound management. I also perform surgery on fish and aquatic species including tumour removal, coelomic surgery, wound repair and more under anaesthesia. Fish surgery is a specialised field.
Anaesthesia and Pain Management Exotic animals require species-specific anaesthesia protocols. Safe sedation and appropriate pain management are part of every procedure I perform regardless of species.
Dental Care Dental disease is one of the most common and most underdiagnosed conditions in rabbits, guinea pigs, and chinchillas. Dental examinations, occlusion assessment, and cheek teeth correction under anaesthesia.
Husbandry and Nutrition Assessments A lot of what I see in practice is preventable. If you want to make sure your animal’s housing and diet are genuinely meeting their needs, this consultation is designed for that.
Wildlife and Conservation Consultancy Available for sanctuaries, wildlife facilities, rescue organisations, and conservation projects needing specialist exotic or aquatic veterinary input.
